Runaway Fool of Love

Written & Sung: J. Stewart; Guitar & Backup Vocal: L. Buckingham

California boy Learning how to live on the road Found me a woman That got down to my soul And I never knew what I had 'til I lost you I swear to the stars above Then you can call me The runaway fool of love I treated you bad I was walking with my head in the clouds Now I'm feeling so lonely Living my life in a crowd Oh, I never knew what I had 'til I lost you I swear to the stars above And you can call me The runaway fool of love Then you can move me and you can hold me And roll me like a glove Or you can call me The runaway fool of love Can't you, babe? Oh, I never knew what I had 'til I lost you I swear to the stars above And you can call me The runaway fool of love Then you can move me and you can hold me And roll me like a glove Or you can call me The runaway fool You can call me The runaway fool You can call me The runaway fool of love

WEBMISTRESS speculates:

This is a catchy, fun song. I like it - it moves along well, has a good beat. Lindsey's backing vocals are also very distinct.

LAURA speculates:

i actually have this album on vinyl somewhere... i remember on the back of it, when john stewart was thanking people and he got to lindsey , after commenting on his wonderful guitar work said" who was that guy?"
but lindseys guitar work is awesome on this, and he and johns voice actually blend well.. and yes, very catchy.
