Hold Me

Written by C. McVie & R. Patton; Sung by C. McVie & L. Buckingham

[Lindsey in red; Together in green]

Can you understand me? Baby, don't you hand me a line Although it doesn't matter You and me got plenty of time There's nobody in the future So, baby, let me hand you my love No step for you to dance to So slip your hand inside of my glove Hold me, hold me, hold me (Come on and) Hold me, hold me, hold me I don't want no damage But how'm I gonna manage you? You want a percentage But I'm the fool payin' the dues I'm just around the corner If you've got a minute to spare I'll be waitin' for ya If you ever wanna be there Hold me, hold me, hold me (Come on and) Hold me, hold me, hold me (Why won't you) Hold me, hold me, hold me (Come on and) Hold me, hold me, hold me (Come on and) Hold me, hold me, hold me (Come on and) Hold me, hold me, hold me (Come on and) Hold me, hold me, hold me (Come on and) Hold me, hold me, hold me Hold me, hold me, hold me Hold me, hold me, hold me Hold me, hold me, hold me

I like this song. Lindey and Christine sing this as a duet, and they really sound unique together - totally different from the Stevie/Lindsey harmonies which also have a very distinct sound. It's part of that variety that makes FM so great! As for the theme of the song - a frustrated lover who just wants to be held - I'm thinking Lindsey could relate to that pretty well, even if he didn't write it!
