As with other songs on the album, Lindsey is contemplating the passage of time. The song is more of a instrumental showcase than a lyrical one; the guitar has a type of rainfall effect to it. It has been artificially sped up, but despite that manic aspect there is still an oddly relaxing element to it. Perhaps that is accomplished by the whispery vocal.
