After the Storm (Go Out Dancing)

Written & Sung: B. Stewart; Guitar: L. Buckingham

Cold, gray morning Wrapped beneath my morrows You're trying to keep warm After the storm You take my emotions And throw them to the ocean You know I, I won't need them where I'm going Because I'm going out dancing With the ladies of the night (I'm going dancing, chancing with the ladies) I'm going out dancin', chancin With the ones who like the style A lovely senorita You dance when I meet you And I know you, you like the ways I do You say I got feelings Enough to reach your ceilings But you know I, I won't give them to you Because I'm going out dancing With the ladies of the night (I'm going dancing, chancing with the ladies) I'm going out dancing, chancin' With the ones who like the style It's a cold, gray morning Wrapped beneath my morrow You're trying to keep warm After the storm Take my emotions And throw them to the oceans You know I, I won't give them to you Because I'll go out dancing With the ladies of the night (I'm going dancing, chancing with the ladies) I'll go out dancing, chancin' With the ones who like the style Dancing, dancing with the ladies Gonna dance with the ladies Gonna dance with the ladies Gonna dance with ladies Goin' dancing....

WEBMISTRESS speculates:

Ugh, I don't like this song. First, it has a rather lame premise about a guy who ditches a woman who loves him for the "ladies of the night" (apparently, he doesn't mind paying for it). Then, for some reason, Baron uses the archaic "morrow" instead of "tomorrow", which really wouldn't bother me so much if he used it correctly. But he doesn't, so he sounds ridiculous all around. At any rate, at least it's got a good guitar player on it!
