Animal Lover

Written & Sung: W. Egan; Guitar & Backup Vocal: L. Buckingham

Meanwhile, back in the jungle... Oooooh...... The natives are restless today Wild one, young and on the prowl Wild one, make me want to howl Your wild exhibitions Break my inhibitions Excites me so Animal hunger Drivin' me mad Animal lover So good and so bad Wild one, when you're wild with me So wild, you're my fantasy You feel, in the moonlight So real, in the moonlight I can't let go Animal hunger Drivin' me mad Animal lover So good and so bad Animal hunger Drivin' me mad Animal lover So good and so bad Animal hunger Drivin' me mad Animal lover So good and so bad (Animal) lover...(Animal) lover (Animal) lover...(Animal) lover (Animal) lover...(Animal) lover (Animal) lover...(Animal) lover (Animal) lover...(Animal) lover...

WEBMISTRESS speculates:

A pretty lame song, but Lindsey plays a mean guitar solo. One perk: love the exhibitions/inhibitions line...now THERE's good word play for you!

VICTORIA speculates:

The webmistress describes this song as lame. I think she tends to expect too much depth in music/lyrics (perhaps the result of being an English/Lit major?).

My impression of this song is simply that of two like minded (if perhaps a little disturbed) musical pals getting together and having a bit of fun. (The "pals" of course being Lindsey and Walter) The music sounds as if it came straight off of Lindsey's "Law and Order," and even includes Lindsey grunting a la "Johnny Stew." It has a very experimental, almost raw feel to it. If you enjoy Lindsey's earlier solo efforts you'll probably really like this song too.
