Make It on a Love

Written & Sung: Espionage; Guitar: L. Buckingham

Elegant time for subconscious knowledge Spacious relaxing, effortless dreaming Counting the times when you were alone and Making excuses for things you are feeling By the time I make it, I will be there on my own You make it on a love That's strong More than one is being two My love for you has grown You got it on a love Love song Inspection of silence, a satisfied policy You are suspicious of anyone acting What's in a dream and what can be seen? I'm never expecting something for nothing By the time I make it, I will be there on my own You make it on a love That's strong One and one is three and two My love for you has grown You got it on a love Love song By the time I make it, I will be there on my own You make it on a love That's strong More than one is being two My love for you has grown You got it on a love Love song By the time I make it, I will be there on my own You make it on a love That's strong More than one is being two My love for you has grown You got it on a love Love song By the time I make it, I will be there on my own You make it on a love That's strong...

WEBMISTRESS speculates:

This song is not so bad. As an English teacher, I always appreciate good vocabulary! While this preference of mine aids him in the first verse, it's hard for me to get over the grammatically questionable "make it on a love." All things considered, the chorus is somewhat catchy, the rest gets a verdict of "blah."
