She

Written & Sung: R. Patton; Guitar: L. Buckingham

She can put the laughter back into your heart Light the night with smiles to show you where you are She can make you believe love is real One look her way, and that's just how you feel She will hold you when those tears fill up your eyes She's learned to know you better than anyone alive Although she's been needing, she still carries on Always the giver, no matter how long Though she may be weary and weak, and fall She can get up and brave through it all She's ready to love you all over again Even if you were the one that had left She....she She will keep you happy even when she's down Stop you ever taking too far off the ground Everyone fights, it's all part of the game But she fights with love that never will change Though she may be weary and weak, and fall She can get up and brave through it all She's ready to love you all over again Even if you were the one that had left She.....she....she.....she....she

WEBMISTRESS speculates:

This is a nice song, very sweet, if a little draggy. He's got himself a keeper in that lady! But, whenever I see the title for this song, I can't help but think of the Monkees tune by the same name. I heard that one first, so it's the definitive "She" for me!
