My Little Savior

Written by J. Camp; Sung by J. Camp; Backup Vocal: S. Nicks

You're my little savior You're the one I sleep by at night You take me in and promise me I'll be alright You're my little angel Down from the heavens above I know I can't ask for much anymore But you still smile and give me your love So if you fall asleep tomorrow Then I know I can get us through this night But if you fall asleep as I hold you tight... You'll have moved on Your love will be gone You're my little savior Hold me close and stare into the stars Let me know, do you think That there's someone who still believes in us After I've lost all their trust I need someone to believe me So fall asleep tomorrow 'Cause I know I can get us through this night But if you fall asleep as I hold you tight... You'll have moved on Your love will be gone, your love will be gone Please, just fall asleep tomorrow 'Cause I know I can get us through this night 'Cause if you fall asleep as I hold you tight... You'll have moved on So, please, just fall asleep tomorrow 'Cause, sugar, I know I can get us through this night But if you fall asleep as I hold you tight... You'll have moved on Your love will be gone, your love will be gone You were my little savior I held you close through the night But I guess I just fell asleep somewhere Please forgive me 'Cause I know I messed you up inside You're my little savior I loved you

WEBMISTRESS speculates:

Ah, Jesse Camp. The delightful winner of the first MTV "Wanna Be a VJ" contest. Well, he's a wannabe alright. This guy's voice brings new meaning to the term "painful to listen to." As he croaks out his version of a "power ballad", Stevie sings harmony (although it must be hard to harmonize with a guy who can't carry a tune). This guy makes Tom Petty sound like Luciano Pavarotti. OK, enough trashing of Jesse. After all, he has a mother, too... but Stevie, what were you thinking? Was his producer blackmailing you or something? Next time you see Jesse Camp, RUN, Stevie RUN. And don't look back.
