Here Comes the Sun

 Written by: G. Harrison

Little darlin' It's been a long, cold, lonely winter Little darlin' It seems like years since it's been here Here comes the sun Here comes the sun And I say "It's alright" Little darlin' The smiles returning to the faces Little darlin' It seems like years since it's been here Here comes the sun Here comes the sun And I say "It's alright" Here comes the sun Here comes the sun And I say "It's alright" Sun, sun, sun Here it comes Sun, sun, sun Here it comes Sun Here it comes Sun, sun, sun Here it comes Here it comes Here it comes Here it comes Here it comes

WEBMISTRESS speculates:

Lindsey did his twist on this song for ABC's New Year's Eve special on Dec. 31, 2001. It was a tribute to George Harrison, to whom Lindsey also dedicated his performance of Love Minus Zero/No Limit at the AHI benefit earlier that month.

MARK speculates:

I figured this was a song about "Lucifer" rising, the god of the witches. This can be seen as the co-called "star child" at the end of the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey." The Beatles were very witchy!

NICHOLE speculates:

This song was originally written after a "long cold" winter and there was finally a sunny day. George Harrison was walking around in Eric Clapton's garden and just started humming, eventually coming out with this song. (From A Hard Day's Write).
