Some non-FM favorites...but since this is a Buckingham Nicks site, I tried to think of some relationships.

Gwyneth Paltrow, co-star of Shakespeare in Love, sings backup for Sheryl Crow's version of It's Only Love found on C'mon C'mon. That song also appears on Trouble in Shangri-La.

 
Russell Crowe, star of Gladiator, dated Meg Ryan, who stopped by the studio with Laura Dern while Stevie was recording Fall From Grace.

 
Stevie mentions Scarlett and Tara in Welcome to the Room...Sara.

 
Carrie Fisher, co-star of Star Wars, appeared in The Blues Brothers with Dan Akroyd. Dan appeared on We Are the World with Lindsey.

 
Lindsey does the big theme of National Lampoon's Vacation, Holiday Road, as well as Dancin' Across the USA, which plays over the credits.

 
Henry V is based on a play by Shakespeare, who wrote Romeo and Juliet. Stevie compares herself to Juliet in the song of the same name.

 
Ben-Hur star Charlton Heston went up against Clinton on several political issues. FM played for Clinton's Inauguration and a couple of special occasions.

 
On the Dirty Dancing soundtrack Vol. 2, two of Otis Redding's songs appear. During the Mirage Tour Rehearsal, the band does an impromptu version of Redding's I've Been Loving You Too Long

 
Harrison Ford, star of Raiders of the Lost Ark, co-starred wtih Anne Heche in Six Days Seven Nights. Anne Heche once dated Lindsey.

 
Colin Firth, who co-stars in Pride and Prejudice, also appeared in Shakespeare in Love with Gwenyth Paltrow. Paltrow appeared with Huey Lewis in Duets. Lewis appeared on We Are the World with Lindsey.

 
During It's a Wonderful Life, Silent Night is played. Stevie does a version of that on A Very Special Christmas.

 
Jon Cusack plays a bit part in Sixteen Candles (one of Andrew McCarthy's nerdy friends). He also stars in High Fidelity, where his character mentions Fleetwood Mac's White Album as part of the "soundtrack of his life."

 
Gene Kelly, star of Singing in the Rain, also starred in Pal Joey. That movie was scored by Richard Rodgers, who co-wrote This Nearly Was Mine, which Lindsey covers on Out of the Cradle.

 
The little girl's name is Carol Ann, like Lindsey's ex who is the focus of his album Go Insane, and who also sings backup and appears in the video for It Was I.

 
Rob Reiner directed When Harry Met Sally. He also directed This Is Spinal Tap. Mick has played drums for Spinal Tap a few times.

 
Lindsey's ex Cheri Caspari plays the ditsy prostitute with the slurpie who moves into Vivian's place after Vivian is carried off by Edward at the end of Pretty Woman.

 
Bruce Willis, star of Die Hard, appeared in Frank Sinatra: The Best is Yet to Come. Ella Fitzgerald also appeared, and Stevie covered her song At Last.

 
Jimmy Stewart, star of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, also co-starred in Destry Rides Again with Marlene Dietrich. Stevie mentions Marlene in the song Garbo.

 
Lindsey wrote Time Bomb Town for the Back to the Future soundtrack.

 
When Forrest is running across America, Go Your Own Way is played. This is during the part when Forrest inspires the bumper sticker "Sh*t Happens."

 
Julie Andrews, star of Mary Poppins, also starred in The Sound of Music, which was scored by Rodgers and Hammerstein. They wrote This Nearly Was Mine, which Lindsey covers on Out of the Cradle.

Duncan Sheik appears on the "Friends" soundtrack, and he covers Songbird on the FM tribute Legacy.

 
O'Reilly hates Clinton. FM played at Clinton's Inauguration, and at his birthday party.

 
Jon Stewart made fun of how Gore and Clinton "danced" to FM at the inaugural bash. Also, his name sounds like Lindsey's influence John Stewart, whose projects Lindsey often appeared on.

 
Stevie and Lindsey have both appeared on Letterman and FM appears on two top ten lists: Hillary Clinton's Tips for Making Your Man Happy and The No Topic List
